Synopsis: Learn RouterOS course being offered July 8th-12th 2013 in St. Louis. Hosted at
the Hampton Inn Southwest located in St. Louis, MO, Link Technologies, Inc
presents our 5-Day RouterOS Workshop. This course combines several
advanced certifications and the basic RouterOS training package together
into one 5-Day course! This course includes all training material covered under the MTCNA, MTTCE, MTCRE, and MTCWE. See the course outline for detailed information.
Flight Information: St.
Louis Lambert International Airport has a number of airlines that you
can choose from. Southwest, Delta, American, and others Airlines are
available. Lambert airport code is STL if you have not already booked
your flights. We recommend arriving at least by midday on Sunday July 7th, and leaving on the following Saturday.
Hotel: The Hampton Inn Southwest locates at #9 Lambert Drury Drive St. Louis, MO 63088 is hosting the event. We recommend that
you stay at the hosting hotel. We have a special discounted rate at 95.00+ tax. The group code will be "TEC" if reserving online. If you would like to call in you must mention Link Technologies to receive rate. You can follow this link, to book on-line. This hotel DOES NOT offer a shuttle to/from the airport.
You can get a taxi at the airport or rent a car, however, if you wish
to have a discounted fare, you can contact, County Cab (314) 991-5300.
These have been recommended by the Hampton Inn. The hotel’s contact
number is 636-529-9020. This hotel is about a 30-40 minute ride from the airport.
Class Schedule:The current schedule is to meet in the conference room at 9AM CST, on July 8th-12th. We will continue till around 6PM CST,
taking about ½ hour for a lunch break. Lunch will not be provided, but
there are several places within walking distance. July 12th, 2013 is the
testing day and class will bring at 8AM CST and end around 4PM CST.
Training Room Requirements: The training class is designed around a Windows XP or newer, we cannot support other OS installations. YOU WILL NEED to bring a Windows based Laptop, power supply, and power strip. WIFI access will be available for internet access.
Please
feel free to bring any other routers that you feel would be beneficial
to use in your test environment as well as a tested and working Null
Modem Cable with your laptop.
Recommended knowledge prior to course: You
need to have knowledge in basic routing, and IP sub-netting. You should
also have a good understanding of what the differences are between
layer 2 and layer 3 in the OSI model. I would also recommend that you
have used RouterOS routers for at least 6 months prior to attending the
course. If you have not, you will learn a lot of information; However,
the testing may prove to be difficult.
